As the Facility Assistant II, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the facility and the achievement of production targets, while demonstrating an exceptionally high level of customer service and safe work practices.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• You will work with a team in a country grain elevator and crop inputs operation.

• Grain Elevator Operations: You will be responsible for handling grain delivered from farmers, along with drying, blending, storage, and shipping of grain.
• Crop Input Operations: You will be responsible for the movement of seed, crop protection and fertilizer through blending, delivery, shipping, and custom application to customers.
• You will be required to maintain a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to P&H Quality and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• You will provide exceptional customer service.
• You will perform regular facility maintenance and housekeeping.

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Some experience in Ag operations, grain elevator / fertilizer facility or farming operations would be preferred.
• Some experience in Health & Safety procedures and a champion for safe work environment
• Ability in customer service skills.
• Post-Secondary education preferably in agriculture or business would be an asset.
• D-Z / AZ license or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication skills.
• Aptitude for mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment off-site in customers fields.
• Ability to work within environment subject to dust and allergen.
• Flexible work schedule \xe2\x80\x93 including evenings weekends and holidays during busy periods.
• Ability to work at heights.
