As a Facility Assistant II, you will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operation of the grain facility.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Contribute to the movement of grain by loading and unloading shipments
• Collect, test, and record grain samples
• Grain grading for canola, wheat, oats and barley
• Operate grain cleaners
• Perform regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
• Provide exceptional customer service duties

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a general labour job, preferably in agricultural and/or farming
• Comfortable working with computer programs
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Ability to work within a work environment subject to dust and allergens
• Flexible work schedule
