Contract \xe2\x80\x93 Maternity Leave
Multi-site - Toronto, Ontario
$55 - $60 / hourOur client, one of Toronto\xe2\x80\x99s leading Real Estate Developers is looking for an Operations Manager, Commercial Facilities to assist them with a multi-site portfolio for an upcoming Maternity Leave. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, fantastic organizational and time management skills, and a desire to be an integral part of a team!This role is responsible for strategic planning, budget management, facilities maintenance, contract management and ensuring that all facilities comply with local laws and regulations.Facilities Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Management
  • Financial Forecasting & Budgeting
  • Vendor Negotiations, Contract Management and SLA Management
  • Evaluate, implement and operate integrated workplace management systems
  • Develop Facilities related plans, procedures and reports
  • Prioritize and manage multiple deliverables with limited oversight
  • Working with various Facilities equipment, systems, and troubleshooting within the area of responsibility (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, BMS, Fire & Life Safety and related systems)
Facilities Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field preferred
  • Facilities Management Professional (IFMA - FMP) / Certified Facility Manager (IFMA \xe2\x80\x93 CFM)
  • Proven experience as a Facility Operations Manager in a corporate environment
  • Proficient in applying the project management life cycle and its associated tools to support Facility projects
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations related to Facilities & Operations
  • Knowledge of hazard assessments and reporting, emergency preparedness and business continuity plans
  • Strong communication skills in English; written and spoken; ability to communicate in French is an asset
  • Flexible, adaptable, self-driven, proactive and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities
  • Professional maturity, sensitivity with different cultures and impeccable integrity
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and documentation skills
