Leader Name: Senior Manager, Facilities Management

As ATB\'s next Facilities Manager, Central with People Places & Spaces (PP&S), you will report to the Senior Manager, Facilities Management and will provide results-driven facilities expertise and oversight, to inspire change for a sustainable future and drive innovation through best practices and technology. You will be accountable for the management of ATB\'s north region facilities from a holistic perspective, fostering team member, landlord & subtenant relationships to effectively and efficiently deliver on facility performance & budget objectives through contract, vendor performance, physical security, environmental, space change & ERT/on call management. This role is required to travel to all facilities in the north region, including overnights, and to be on call approximately one week out of every eight weeks.

PP&S is ATB\'s real estate and facilities business unit and leads: real estate strategy, workplace optimization & experience, spatial design, construction, project management, leasing & subleasing management, facilities management & maintenance, asset management, facility operations, occupational health & safety, and physical security. PP&S oversees ATB\'s 1.5 million square feet of space and the team is deeply connected to transforming banking through ATB\'s client facing locations, and leading the way with corporate workplace transformation, both of which bring ATB\'s mandate to life and make it possible for Albertans.

Facilities Manager Central Accountabilities:

  • You will develop and foster relationships with tenants, subtenants and landlords across the north region portfolio.
  • You will utilize strong communication skills to ensure timely distribution of critical building operational processes and services and to manage space and change initiatives.
  • You will advance and manage the client, team member and subtenant facilities experience.
  • You will have a well-developed working knowledge of team KPIs & metrics with the ability to create meaningful data to drive results related to the life cycle and cost management of building operations.
  • You will manage third party contractor and vendor performance, including managing onsite safety requirements and ongoing relationships with vendors.
  • You will strategically manage the life cycle projects and operating maintenance budgets, balancing customer expectations and FCIs with decisions being focussed on value creation.
  • You will utilize the AssetPlanner service delivery model and semi-annual site visits to maintain a high degree of service and building conditions to all locations under your portfolio.
  • You will manage the ongoing physical security requirements for each location in your portfolio, inlcuidng security equipment monitoring and maintenance, response/incident management and on call rotation duties.
  • You will work to continuously improve processes and procedures as it relates to the facilities management of all ATB leased and owned real estate.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in business operations, business administration, business management or other relevant fields.
  • Professional designation(s) such as RPA/FMA (BOMI) CFM (IFMA).
  • 3 years of facilities management experience.
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of the G Suite of tools. AssetPlanner software experience would be beneficial.
