Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance. The Custodian will also be responsible for lawn maintenance and snow shoveling.

Responsibilities

• Emptying garbages/recycling/green bins.
• Cleaning bathrooms/kitchens.
• Sanitizing high touch surfaces.
• Landscaping and grass cutting in the summer.
• Shovelling snow and salting parking lots during the winter.
• Maintain building cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, operating floor cleaner and cleaning up debris inside and outside of the building.
• Exhibit strong moral principles in all of our interactions & processes.
• Promote MPC's core values and actively contribute to a positive and rewarding team environment.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use.
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exceptional reliability even in poor weather.
• Outstanding attendance.
• Must be willing to shovel snow and work outside during the winter.
• Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and accept instruction.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Excellent problem solving abilities and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
