The Opportunity!

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Facilities Lead ensures all office locations across the region are maintained to HUB standards and business continuity is critical. The Facilities Lead will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Finance, Real Estate, Accounts Payable, IT, Vice Presidents of Operations and Branch Leaders of HUB Prairies to address lease administration, office relocations, renovations and improvements and maintenance while maintaining within budget. As an integral part of our team of experts, this role is critical to the success of our daily functions and objectives.

A day in the life \xe2\x80\x93

Administration of all leases in conjunction with the CFO and Corporate Real Estate Team.

Building and maintaining internal relationships and communication with key stakeholders from Finance, Corporate Real Estate Team, and Executive Leadership team with regards to any projects in que to keep them on budget and on time.

Building and maintaining external relationships with HUB clients to provide services required and reward work to vendors with good reputation that provide fair quote details.

Liaise with landlords on changes, improvements, and expenses on an as needed basis.

Liaise with IT/Network team to ensure business continuity when problems arise.

Project management of any office location renovations, relocations, or new locations.

Responsible for annual CapEx Budget of IT and Non-IT items for entire HUB Prairies region.

Create operational and cost efficiencies where opportunities exist relating to facilities.

What you will bring to the role \xe2\x80\x93

Comprehensive experience managing a complex budget.

Project management skills and a demonstrated ability to achieve win-win even when faced with barriers.

Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills and the ability to coordinate detailed discussions with many stake holders.

Superior organizational skills required to ensure time sensitive deadlines and budgets are maintained.

Excellent communication (both verbal and written), problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Performs well in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task with ease.
