An Abbotsford Fire Truck Manufacturing company is seeking Fabricators to join our team. We are a long-standing, local business with many long-term employees, and are looking to add a few more dedicated professionals.

At Hub Fire Engines, we are proud to be transforming how custom fire apparatus are built in Canada. As part of our commitment to innovation and quality, we've implemented modern manufacturing methods that support precision and efficiency on the shop floor. These include laser cutting of major body components, as well as the use of 3D design and modeling to produce detailed, fabrication-ready drawings and instructions for our production team. Welder/fabricators joining our team will be part of a forward-thinking environment where craftsmanship is elevated through technology -- building life-saving equipment with purpose and pride.

A strong attention to detail and careful finishing is a must. Experience in custom fabrication (primarily aluminum). Canadian Welding Certification an asset but not required.

This position is typically Monday to Friday shifts but may require the odd Saturday. Reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude are a must. The applicant must be willing to self-study industry specific technical information.

What You Will Do



Perform custom aluminum fabrication for truck bodies. Assemble aluminum components and structures according to blueprints, technical drawings and specifications. Utilize various fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and welding to create precise and high-quality metal structures (primarily aluminum). Operate cutting equipment to shape and trim aluminum pieces to required sizes. Execute various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding to join aluminum parts. Quality Control - inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.

Full-time | Monday to Friday | This is a union position. Salary range: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour. This position may require occasional work on weekends, outside of regular work hours. Includes EHT plus fully paid health and dental plan. Includes bonus plan for on time production. Stop commuting and work locally.
