Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. We are a leading provider of custom granite and quartz countertops, specializing in crafting high-quality surfaces for residential and commercial projects. Our team takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various fabrication processes.

This role involves working with stone to create high-quality products, ensuring precision to specifications. The Fabricator will be responsible for operating machinery, reading and interpreting cutsheets (measurements), and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Duties:

Operate fabrication equipment, including press brake machines and plasma cutting tools. Utilize hand tools and machinery to shape, cut, and assemble materials. Perform welding tasks as required to ensure structural integrity of products. Use cranes and forklifts for material handling and transportation within the facility. Conduct measurements using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and polish granite and quartz slabs according to specifications. Operate tools and machinery such as saws, grinders, and polishers safely and effectively. Inspect and handle stone slabs to ensure quality and integrity throughout the fabrication process. Perform edge profiling, sink cutouts, and finishing work with precision. Work closely with the installation team to ensure seamless integration of fabricated pieces. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols. Handle heavy materials and use appropriate lifting equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in stone fabrication, including granite and quartz is preferred. Familiarity with industry tools and machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery safely. Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
