We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and managing a skilled workforce. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Provide training and mentorship to new employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. Collaborate with management to develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively. Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and employee performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or workshop environment. CWB certified preferred or a good understanding of the standards. Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and safety protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and management. Familiar with reading blueprints and drawings. Problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and quality improvement. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
