Job Title: Welding ShopForeman
Summary:The Welding Shop foreman supports the supervisor in managing day-to-day operations of the welding shop. This role acts as a working leader, performing welding duties while guiding and assisting team members to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in assigning tasks and coordinating workflow among welders and fabricators. Serve as a technical resource and mentor for team members on welding techniques and procedures. Perform hands-on welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Monitor work progress to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety protocols. Help troubleshoot welding issues and recommend solutions. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment. Act as the point of contact in the supervisor's absence.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of experience in welding, preferably in a fabrication or production environment. Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Familiarity with safety regulations and shop practices.
Preferred Qualifications: Welding certifications, previous experience in a lead hand or team lead role. Basic computer skills for logging work and reviewing schedules or drawings.

Pay: $35.43-$37.36 per hour
