Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Cereal Extrusion Operator / Lead

to oversee daily extrusion line operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running twin-screw extruders in a food manufacturing environment and understands process control, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor twin-screw extrusion lines for cereal production Adjust parameters such as feed rate, screw speed, temperature, and moisture to maintain consistent product quality Lead and train production staff on extrusion best practices and safety procedures Record process data and troubleshoot variations in torque, expansion, or texture Perform basic maintenance and changeovers on the extruder and related equipment Work with QA and R&D to support new product trials and process improvements Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with GMP and HACCP standards

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience operating twin-screw extruders in a food or cereal manufacturing setting Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret process data Understanding of ingredient functionality, hydration, and extrusion cooking principles Experience with packaging, drying, and coating systems an asset Ability to lift 25 kg and work in a fast-paced production environment Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

Full-time, on-site Day shift (occasional flexibility may be required)

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience Benefits package available after probation period
