External Relations Coordinator
Full-time, Term until March 31, 2027
It is the mission of Tungasuvvingat Inuit (TI) to broadly provide Inuit-specific programs that contribute to the health and wellbeing of Inuit and to encourage and support similar programs for Inuit across the country. TI has over 30 years of highly successful experience in crafting the design, development, and delivery of a wide range of effective, client-centered services. By incorporating the principles of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ), TI continues to deliver quality programs and services that directly benefit our growing urban Inuit population
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, Toronto, the External Relations Coordinator key responsibilities are maintaining project documentation, which include plans and reports, controlling schedules, communicating the project's progress to team members and other stakeholders, and managing the project's budget issues and risks of the relationship building project with the Ministry of Indigenous Affairs Ontario (MIAO), as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding. The External Relations Coordinator utilizes and incorporates the 8 Guiding Principles of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit and Inuit traditional teachings when approaching all areas of responsibilities.
