Express Worker
Job Description
Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone
Accurately take orders using the POS system and confirm details with customers
Monitor and manage orders from third-party delivery platforms (e.g., DoorDash, UberEats)
Ensure orders are properly packed, labeled, and checked for accuracy before handing them off
Handle payments and issue receipts or refunds as needed
Restock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and organize the takeout and retail area
Respond to customer inquiries, resolve minor issues, and escalate concerns when necessary
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service
Promote and upsell menu items and bottled sauces when appropriate
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or takeout experience in a restaurant environment preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and team-oriented mindset Basic math and POS system skills required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs Comfortable working around food, heat, and busy kitchen/bar areas
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
