YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Exploration Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the Ontario Regional Exploration Team. You will have a vital role in advancing exploration in the Kirkland Lake portion of the Abitibi by expediting all exploration initiatives, guiding teams, and performing key geological activities including core teching, sampling, core cutting, mechanical stripping and channel sampling. In this role you will also support geologists in the field, office and core shack. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Foster a positive Health and Safety culture with contractors and coworkers; Participate in Health and Safety meetings and ensure that environmental and safety protocols are followed on the work sites; Conduct Health and Safety inspections at drilling sites; Complete technical logging of drill core; Assist geologists in core logging activities; Support the maintenance of tools and buildings; Manage drill core and rock samples inventory; Participate in field mapping programs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

High School Diploma, College Diploma preferred. Physical ability to manipulate charges of about 50 pounds regularly. Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills is considered an asset. Experience operating a loader or forklift is considered an asset. Valid Drivers license.

Your Work Schedule:

Schedule: 8 days of work, followed by 6 days for transportation and rest. Travel allowance is provided. Based in Dobie, near Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
