Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Touch Bistro Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food preparation when needed Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings smoothly during busy hours Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting

Requirements

Proven experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant Strong knowledge of POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest concerns professionally Culinary experience or background in food industry operations is highly desirable Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and suggestive selling strategies Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate bill processing Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Previous host/host or serving experience preferred; hospitality background highly valued
