Mack Lawyers is a trusted law firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients across Ontario. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Clerk to join our team and support our growing practice.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review real estate documents, including agreements of purchase and sale, deeds, mortgages, and closing documents.
Conduct title and off-title searches using Teraview and other related systems.
Draft, review, and submit e-reg documents and registrations.
Communicate with clients, lawyers, lenders, and real estate agents to coordinate closings.
Manage real estate files from opening to closing, ensuring deadlines are met.
Handle trust accounting, disbursements, and reconciliation as required.
Maintain organized and accurate records in compliance with Ontario real estate and legal standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum
3 years of recent experience
as a Real Estate Law Clerk in Ontario.
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, including residential and/or commercial.
Proficiency with
Teraview, LawLabs and MS Office
(Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and client service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
