We are a leading transport company seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team and look after our fleet of tractor trailers. As a mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vehicles. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs on tractor trailers to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with other team members to schedule and prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with tractor trailers in a professional setting.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of tractor trailer components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour Schedule:

• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay
