We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes, ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely service of food.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages.
Participate in daily kitchen prep work, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Assist with training new kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
