Overview

We are seeking a

Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator

to join our team. As an educator, you will play a vital role in educating and nurturing young minds in a supportive, child-centered environment.

Key Duties

Take initiative to organize and complete daily tasks efficiently Lead a classroom with confidence while being a collaborative team player Demonstrate strong active supervision and positive behaviour guidance Practice an authoritative caregiving style that balances warmth and structure Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning, creativity, and socialization Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool-aged children Provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child's progress Foster a classroom culture that encourages exploration, growth, and curiosity

Experience & Skills

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting Solid knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Ability to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate programs Strong skills in guiding and educating young learners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership abilities

Requirements

Calgary Police Service background check with vulnerable sector search (within the last 6 months) Current First Aid and CPR certification Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 2 or 3) Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning

Pay: $18.00-$27.62 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
