What You'll Do
As an experienced CPA, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients and strengthening our team. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing personal tax returns, compilation and review engagements
Assisting with client bookkeeping, including payroll and government filings matters internally and externally.
Investigating queries, discrepancies and collaborating with management to resolve client issues on various matters including CRA reviews and audits.
Communicating with government agencies regarding assessments and information requests
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who's not only technically skilled but also thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have:
CPA designation with 3+ years of experience in public practice
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in Caseware, TaxCycle, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within time budgets
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Experience preparing T4s and T5s, GST returns, T1's and T2's returns, and Caseware
Experience with year-end engagements preferred (training available for the right candidate)
