Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and reliable Pizza Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking, particularly in pizza-making, with the ability to prepare a variety of fast-food items, including pizzas, pastas, wings, calzones, and appetizers. This role requires a focus on food quality, safety, and efficiency, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards. The Pizza Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with kitchen staff to deliver delicious meals to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook pizzas, pasta, calzones, garlic bread, wings, and other menu items according to recipes and customer preferences. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes. Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Manage prep work, sauces, and ingredients efficiently to support kitchen operations. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain food quality and safety. Collaborate effectively with team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards. Participate in training sessions to continuously improve cooking techniques and kitchen operations. Flexibility to assist with other menu items or kitchen tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in a pizza-making or restaurant cooking role. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking methods, and safety standards. Proven skills in pizza-making, with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes quickly and efficiently. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Dependable, punctual, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Food Handler's Certificate is an asset. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
