Job Description
We are a large volume kitchen seeking cooks with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience. We pride ourselves on excellent food quality, service, and presentation.
We are looking to hire 2 people that posses excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail, are reliable, conscientious and work well in a team environment.
Preference will be given to applicants that possess these qualities as well as flexible availability. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and early mornings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.*
Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.*
Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.*
Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. Check quality of foods or supplies.*
Maintain food inventories by notifying the chef of items running low or needed for next delivery.*
Season and cook food according to chef direction, recipes, or personal judgment and experience. To include: Baking , roasting, broiling, and steaming meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.*
Portion, arrange, and garnish food to a high standard of quality and presentation. Test and record food temperatures to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, and to current food-safety standards.
Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for service.*
Carve and trim meats such as beef, ham, pork, and lamb.*

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
