Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpet Installer to join our construction and flooring team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, construction, and maintenance person skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a Hotel setting. Duties

Measure and prepare spaces for carpet installation, ensuring precise fit and alignment Use hand tools and power tools to cut, lay, and secure carpet and padding materials Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately Perform related tasks such as tile laying, carpentry, caulking, and minor repairs as needed Ensure proper surface preparation by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors before installation Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly

Experience

Prior experience in flooring installation or construction is preferred Familiarity with hand tools, tile laying, carpentry, and blueprint reading is highly desirable Hands-on maintenance person experience or related skills such as caulking and general repairs are advantageous Ability to operate construction equipment or related machinery is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards throughout all phases of installation

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $18.50-$27.00 per hour
