Cloudwifi is urgently hiring a

Cabling Technician

for a

short-term contract (approximately 60 days)

in

Dartmouth, NS

. One of our technicians had a family emergency and had to fly overseas, so we need someone who can step in immediately to help finish a customer installation project.

The successful candidate must be able to work

independently on day one

.

About the Work:

You'll be completing a cabling and installation project at a customer site, including:

Pulling and running Cat6 cabling Terminating Ethernet and fibre optic cables Installing network equipment (switches, access points, routers) Testing, labeling, and basic troubleshooting Working solo or as part of a very small team

Required/Strongly Preferred Experience:

Experience with Ethernet cabling (eg. Cat6) and terminations Able to work safely on active construction sites Comfortable working alone with limited oversight

Bonus Skills:

Fibre optic termination experience Familiarity with networking hardware Working-at-heights certification Experience in residential or commercial telecom installs Own cabling tools
