Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and other baked goods according to established recipes. Decorate desserts with attention to detail, ensuring aesthetic appeal and quality. Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and interacting with customers in a friendly manner. Package baked goods for sale, ensuring proper presentation and freshness. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of products served. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred. Strong skills in baking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling certificate is required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in food preparation and cooking is a plus. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking and food preparation. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Candidates with their own car/ability to driving a car is preferred. Living closely is preferred. (Oakville area)

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
