Job Description

We are a gardening and landscaping company located in Marpole near a major transit route (Granville St.)

No personal vehicle required. We work full-time Monday to Friday, 8am-4:00pm, primarily on the west side of Vancouver.

Start date: beginning of March - preference given to those available all year until our season ends in late November/early December.

Pay: $20-26/hour depending on experience. Our gardening positions involve little to no lawn maintenance duties.

> Leading or working together with one other member of one of our small gardening crews, depending on the season

> Communicating directly with clients in a professional and courteous manner

Minimum Requirements

For Assistant Gardeners:

> Willingness to learn and follow instruction closely

> High attention to detail and ability to balance multiple needs and priorities

> Strong communication skills appropriate for a customer service environment

> Ability to work well with others

> Good physical fitness

> Proper rain gear

> Valid Driver's License and clean drivers record

> Proper pruning and plant knowledge is very welcome+ hedging experience is an asset

Additional requirements for Experienced Gardeners:

> Proficiency with proper pruning and plant knowledge

> Hedge trimming skills and experience an asset

> Ability to work independently with minimal direction

> Horticultural certification welcome
