Position Available: Experienced Veterinary Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to provide outstanding service to both our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Assisting veterinarian during examinations and procedures Assisting with reception duties as needed Provide exceptional client care in the most highly professional manner, on the phone and through electronic communication mediums. Booking appointments, making call-backs to clients and prospective clients Issuing invoices and taking payments Assisting veterinarian before, during and after surgeries Providing compassionate care and handling of animals Administering medications and treatments as directed Maintaining cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and treatment areas Educating clients on proper pet care and nutrition

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant Knowledge of basic veterinary medical terminology and procedures Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Certification/Diploma as a Veterinary Assistant is preferred Must be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
