Are you a dedicated individual who has a desire to constantly improve our stakeholder experience? We have an exciting opportunity for an UX researcher to join our Experience Team as an Experience Coordinator.

You\'ll support a wide range of experience initiatives through qualitative and quantitative UX research to uncover our stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 needs, attitudes, opinions, perceptions, and behaviours. You\xe2\x80\x99ll use your findings, along with WorkSafeBC\xe2\x80\x99s organizational objectives, and our Experience Framework, to inform new and improved experiences for our employees, as well as the workers and employers of B.C.

Where you\xe2\x80\x99ll work

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.

What you\'ll do

  • Conduct stakeholder experience research by recruiting stakeholder participants, developing research tools, conducting fieldwork, analyzing findings, and drafting recommendations to improve our stakeholder experience
  • Analyze the entire project scope including objectives, research needs, timing and budget of experience initiatives while ensuring that the Experience Framework is top-of-mind and embedded throughout the research lifecycle
  • Support the implementation and rollout of our Stakeholder and Employee Experience Framework, a set of guiding principles applied corporate-wide to ensure a consistent high-level stakeholder experience is being achieved
  • Support the Experience Team in developing road maps and journey maps to improve the end-to-end stakeholder experience

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who can:
  • Conduct a wide range of UX research and UX testing and use the results to inform user experience design
  • Apply knowledge of stakeholder needs and desires to improve experiences across the organization while managing experience initiatives through their lifecycle
  • Prioritize and complete several concurrent assigned tasks to meet changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements, working independently or as a member of a team
  • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with a diverse set of internal and external clients to provide clear and concise communications and recommendations
  • Display tact, diplomacy and a dedication to delivering high quality service with a fine attention to detail at all times
Your background and experience
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or Market Research
  • A minimum of 18 months of related experience conducting UX research, (re)designing services and systems based on research, and other relevant experience initiatives
  • Working knowledge of agile design, journey mapping, UX principles, UX testing, and measuring project outcomes
