As a Sr. UX Researcher, you're a thought-leader helping to advance our understanding of the space and users. You are a hands-on problem solver, turning user-centered insights into concrete next steps as a company. You will work collaboratively with designers, product folks, engineers, data scientists, and more to shape the way we utilize our powerful data and create top-quality product experiences that empower our users to make the right decision at the right time. You will be a champion and subject matter expert of user research at Altus Group. You will assess and help establish research and synthesis processes to ensure high quality research outcomes are produced by both our tech and other teams. You will lead key research initiatives and evangelize findings to directly impact business goals.

Our new Sr. UX Research will:

Partner with leadership, offer leads/managers, designers, technical product managers, data scientists, and engineers to identify research needs.

Deliver and execute research plans and help shape product vision and roadmap based on research findings.

Research and implement new methods for user research and synthesis to ensure the team is utilizing industry best practices and upholding high-quality output.

Regularly assess our research & testing operations and make recommendations for revamping processes and/or adopting new tools as necessary.

Evangelize and act as subject-matter-expert on key programs' research outcomes across the company.

Our new Sr. UX Research will have:

The education. You have a BA/BS or advanced degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field.

The Experience. You have 5-8 years of professional experience in user experience / product design, along with experience leading cross-functional key research initiatives at a complex SaaS product company.

You have experience presenting proposals and outcomes in high-visibility settings, such as company-wide meetings, presentations to leadership/executives.

You're a proactive communicator. You are a relationship-builder and thrive in a collaborative environment, communicating closely with colleagues around the world. You are open to giving and receiving feedback and are a good listener.

The technical skills. You have expert knowledge of various user research methods and evaluation techniques, along with knowledge of quantitative research and analysis.

You have the aptitude to grow into an expert in CRE industry, Altus' technology and long-term vision, and our customers.
