We are seeking an Expediter to join our Kanata Location! In ensuring the smooth flow of orders and food preparation in our restaurant. The Expediter plays a crucial role in coordinating between the kitchen and serving staff to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the final preparation and presentation of dishes before they are served to guests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Ensure all food items meet quality standards and are presented correctly
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems is a plus
- Willingness to assist in various tasks within the kitchen and front-of-house areas
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on providing excellent guest services
