Position Summary





The Exhibitor Concierge Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all exhibitor services, delivering exceptional client, exhibitor, and guest experiences. Through strategic planning, on-the-floor leadership, and effective cross-department collaboration. The Exhibitor Concierge Manager reports to and supports the Guest Experience Manager by empowering and guiding the Exhibitor Concierge team to consistently achieve high service standards across events and daily operations.

Responsibilities





Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:


Strategic Planning & Operational Oversight




Contribute to large-scale event planning by providing venue, staffing, and procedural expertise in support of the Guest Experience Manager. Oversee management of the Exhibitor Concierge team schedules to ensure appropriate resourcing and equitable event assignments. Collaborate with team leaders to prepare a cohesive, fully briefed team for each event. Anticipate operational needs and proactively address potential challenges.

Event-Day Leadership & Escalation Management




Guide the Exhibitor Concierge Supervisors to success as on-the-floor leaders, ensuring they feel supported, aligned with procedures, and maintain an open line of communication. Provide real-time support to resolve issues promptly, professionally, and efficiently. Maintain strong visibility during events to guide teams and uphold service standards.

Stakeholder Relationships, Communication & Collaboration




"Own the zone" by maintaining clear, consistent communication by promoting alignment between teams and building strong working relationships across departments to support seamless event delivery. Act as a liaison between Exhibitor Concierge services, Event Management, and other operational groups.

Policy, Procedure & Project Implementation




Support the rollout, understanding and compliance of new operational policies, procedures, workflows, and improvement initiatives. Monitor implementation effectiveness and provide feedback for ongoing organizational improvement.

KPI Management, Goal Setting & Performance Monitoring




Align Exhibitor Concierge activities with organizational goals and service standards. Track key performance indicators, including guest satisfaction, team productivity, and event success metrics. Identify performance gaps and provide coaching or process adjustments to drive continuous improvement. Oversee performance management within the team, collaborating closely with Employee Services to ensure accurate and effective delivery of performance-related initiatives.

Team Leadership, Coaching & Conflict Resolution




Lead a team of up to 20 Exhibitor Concierge staff, fostering development, alignment, and consistent service delivery. Cultivate a positive, collaborative team environment grounded in open communication and trust. Provide coaching, training, and growth opportunities to support ongoing staff development. Address interpersonal issues and conflict with professionalism and fairness. Work collaboratively with the Client Concierge Manager to share Manager on Duty workload, align decisions to ensure cohesive leadership.

Large-Scale Event & Building Buyout Management




Lead Exhibitor Concierge operations on the floor during full building buyouts and other large-scale, high-complexity events. Partner with the Event Management, Logistics and Venue Services to ensure an aligned, seamless operational approach. Oversee team logistics, staffing, coverage, and service execution to support event goals and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications





The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have worked in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications:


A minimum of 3 years' experience in event operations, hospitality management, or venue coordination is required. Previous operational management experience. Experience scheduling appropriate staffing levels for concurrent events Strong understanding of guest service standards and operational workflows. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and an event-based schedule as required. High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure while overseeing multiple priorities Must be able to manage flexible work arrangements during peak periods
