Job description

This internship is from start September 2023 to April 2024 (8 month position).

Korn Ferry\'s Executive Pay & Governance practice is considered to be among Canada\'s top consulting practices in the field of executive and director compensation. Our Executive Pay & Governance consulting practice specializes in delivering the highest quality results in all areas of executive and director compensation & benefits review, short and long-term incentive design, governance, disclosure, and compliance as well as pay and performance analysis.

Our Canadian Executive Pay & Governance practice headquartered in Toronto is seeking an ambitious, dynamic, inquisitive and astute individual who is capable of working on challenging assignments related to executive and director compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

-Gain exposure to an environment that fosters continuous development of your research and technical consulting skills. Develop career expertise in a growing industry currently undersupplied with talent.

-Gain a thorough knowledge of how corporations utilize compensation to realize corporate and shareholder successes.

-Contribute to the team by providing analytical support for the design development and governance of executive compensation.

-Assist in the design of short-term and long-term incentive design plans for executives.

-Perform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy review and development.

-Analyze company documents and interacting with clients to ensure accurate interpretation of information.

-Gain a thorough understanding of value creation at each organization to align compensation with the organization\'s objectives.

-Build a balance of technical, operational, compliance and client relationship responsibilities, providing the challenges necessary to develop your consulting and analytical skills.

Requirements:

-In the process of an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Math or equivalent

-Exceptional Microsoft Office experience with high proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

-Creative, analytical and results-oriented, demonstrated through the ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis

- Ability to work independently and with very high precision

-Experience in survey data analysis, statistical analysis, annual / financial statement analysis and program design.

-A polished presence with well-developed written and oral communication skills

-Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

-Comfortable working in teams

-Experience working with Bloomberg/CapitalIQ is an asset

-Bilingual in French and English is an asset
