Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Fishing Lodge Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a remote, nature-focused setting. This role offers the opportunity to craft innovative menus, oversee all food operations, and inspire a team dedicated to culinary excellence. As the heart of our lodge's hospitality, you will ensure every guest enjoys memorable, high-quality meals that reflect fine dining standards and the unique spirit of our lodge environment.



Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on culinary excellence and safety. Manage all aspects of food production, including preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, managing food costs, and maintaining proper stock levels to optimize efficiency. Enforce strict food safety standards and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations. Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining high service standards. Lead training initiatives for staff development in culinary techniques, food handling, and customer service excellence.



Proven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong background in restaurant management and food service leadership. Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food preparation, kitchen management, and menu planning. Demonstrated supervising experience within a hospitality or food industry setting. Knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, and inventory management practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation. Experience with dietary accommodations and managing special dietary requirements confidently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Background in hospitality or restaurant management preferred; bartending experience is a plus.
