Massage Therapist
to join our team for the summer season. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys remote work in a stunning natural setting and can deliver a calm, professional guest experience at the end of each fishing day.
Position Summary
You'll provide professional massage therapy services to our guests in the evenings, helping them unwind and rejuvenate after a day on the water. This is not a traditional spa environment -- treatments take place in a private, relaxed lodge setting and are scheduled around our guests' fishing and dining schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional relaxation, deep tissue, or sports massages tailored to each guest's needs following their fishing excursions.
Schedule and manage evening appointments, typically between
5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
, in coordination with lodge management and dining service times.
Maintain a serene and professional treatment environment within the lodge or designated massage cabin.
Ensure all massage equipment, linens, and oils are properly cleaned, stored, and restocked daily.
Maintain accurate guest records and uphold confidentiality at all times.
Communicate professionally with guests and staff, embodying the warm, high-end service standard that Hatchet Lake Lodge is known for.
Uphold safety and operational standards while living and working in a remote northern environment.
Qualifications
Certified Massage Therapist (recognized program or equivalent provincial certification).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with diverse, high-end clientele.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a remote, team-based environment.
Enthusiastic about outdoor adventure tourism and comfortable living in a northern lodge setting.
Previous hospitality or resort experience an asset, but not required.
Work Schedule & Environment
Seasonal position (typically June-August).
Evening shifts with flexible daytime hours to enjoy lodge amenities or explore the area.
Room and board provided on-site at Hatchet Lake Lodge.
Fly-in/fly-out access via charter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
