Executive Director Quebec

Brossard, QC, CA, Canada

Job Description

The

Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA)

is an industry-led, national not-for-profit organization that manages and operates efficient and effective regulated electronics recycling programs across Canada. Our mission is to enable businesses and consumers to manage their regulated electronics products sustainably. EPRA collaborates with producers--manufacturers, distributors, and retailers--to fund and manage programs through Steward Fees, ensuring convenient, free recycling for Canadian residents.

EPRA supports a province-wide network of collection points, including municipal depots, private facilities, and retailers, and works with approved recyclers for processing millions of devices each year. By recovering valuable materials like metals and plastics, the association contributes to the circular economy and reduces landfill waste.

In Quebec, EPRA operates under an agreement with

RECYC-QUEBEC

and in accordance with the provincial regulation respecting the recovery and reclamation of products by enterprises. Its program is designed to reduce the environmental footprint of electronic waste by enabling the safe recycling of end-of-life devices. EPRA-Quebec works with a wide network of partners -- including private depots, municipal recovery facilities, retailers, and recyclers -- to ensure efficient, province-wide coverage as well as safe, secure and environmentally sound processing of electronics. It also leads targeted public awareness campaigns such as the well-known Les SerpuariensMD initiative.
