KLC kre-a-tiv Inc. is an established interior design firm of more than 18 years, now growing across two new divisions -- the FILL THE GAP Collection and the kre-a-tiv Vault. We operate in a fast-moving environment where design, product innovation, and operational excellence intersect.
The Executive Assistant will play a key role in supporting the President and the broader team across operations, organization, project management, social media, and administrative systems. This role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple areas of the business. You will help the company run smoothly behind the scenes while contributing meaningfully to major initiatives across KLC.
Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
Support the President & Lead Designer with daily project updates, client information, schedules, and follow-up tasks
Upload meeting notes, prepare agendas, document decisions, and track action items across the business
Assist with calendar management, travel coordination, and preparation for client, partner, and team meetings
Stay ahead of timelines and priorities, anticipating needs before they arise
Business & Operations
Organize and maintain digital systems including Notion, Google Drive, SharePoint, JobTread, and Canva
Match receipts to credit card statements in collaboration with the bookkeeper
Assist with ordering products, tracking deliveries, and supporting procurement needs
Support basic warehouse tasks including opening packages and supporting inventory organization
Assist with occasional product returns, pickups, or drop-offs as needed
Ensure project information is consistently updated, accurate, and easy for the team to access
Maintain smooth workflows through correct file naming, version control, and organized shared spaces
Design & Client Support
Assist with client setup days, onsite preparation, and hands-on support during project-work
Help source, track, and upload Amazon affiliate products into Shopify
Provide support for design-related tasks when needed
Keep design files, notes, and project documentation organized and current
Creative & Marketing Support
Assist with social media posting, caption writing, and preparing content for various platforms
Collaborate on creative ideas across KLC's three divisions: Designs, the Collection, and the Vault
Support the creation of documents and marketing materials in Canva
General Support
Adapt to shifting needs across all divisions
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and clear communication at all times
Bring structure, accuracy, and a solutions-focused mindset to daily tasks
Requirements
Experience & Skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication; must demonstrate strong spelling ability
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, SharePoint, etc.)
Experience with, or willingness to learn: Notion, JobTread, Canva, Shopify, and related platforms
Comfortable supporting social media tasks and light content creation
High comfort level with AI tools; daily use of AI is expected (KLC systems will be taught)
Ability to track information accurately, especially numbers (e.g., entering product pricing, matching receipts, supporting budget tracking)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
