Position Summary

Lhtako Dene Nation is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and coordination support. The Executive Assistant works closely with leadership and staff, ensuring clear communication and well-organized operations across departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and takes pride in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

This position is responsible for scheduling, taking meeting minutes, preparing correspondence, organizing events, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the office.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events. Record accurate meeting minutes and prepare agendas, packages, and follow-up documentation. Maintain calendars and coordinate travel arrangements as required. Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and briefing materials. Support planning, communication, and coordination across departments and with external partners. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for correspondence, reports, and records. Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Office or Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office setting. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Well-groomed and professionally dressed at all times while representing the organization. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. A positive, respectful, and professional attitude when dealing with the public and co-workers.
Employment Details

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Wage: Commensurate with experience.

Start Date: As soon as possible.
