For more than 50 years, Accredited Supports to the Community (ASC), a not-for-profit charitable society, has been providing services across south central Alberta. We serve over 1500 people a year including children, youth, and adults diagnosed with disabilities; families, and seniors Olds, Airdrie, Strathmore and surrounding areas.

Position Description:



ASC is seeking a highly professional, detail oriented, full time Executive Assistant to join our head office team in Olds, Alberta. This new role will provide integral support to our leadership team and board members by ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions, providing comprehensive high-level services, and facilitating effective and efficient communication across the organization. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of initiatives within your community and develop relationships with our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Executive Director, our team of Program Directors, Board Members, and other leadership in ongoing activities; Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality; Review compliance and accreditation documentation and advise leadership on current regulations and standards; Monitor progress and provide updates to executives on ongoing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and important information is communicated amongst the team members in timely order; Prepare, respond to, and review internal and external correspondence; Maintain records and files systems with astute attention to detail; Coordinate with other departments or teams to execute initiatives; Provide day to day technical support, and liaise with IT for any complex technology related need or issue; Technology and furniture inventory and ordering, including supporting our Green Program initiative; Schedule and coordinate executive in-person and virtual meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and accommodations as required; Administrative duties including scribing, preparing meeting agendas, minute taking, following up on action items, and other supportive tasks; Facilitate employee recognition and volunteer appreciation awards and gifts.

Education and Requirements:



A College or University certificate, diploma or degree in a related field; Two (2) or more years experience as a Professional Executive Assistant or related role; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suites, AI, and other multifaceted digital platforms; Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and sound judgment; Outstanding verbal and written communication, with the ability to work professionally with clients, employees, and internal and external stakeholders; Exceptional organizational abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities.
