JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant Cadesky Tax is a leading firm in our industry. We work with a wide range of clients to help them with tax efficient strategies. Our services include estate planning, corporate restructuring, international and Canada-US cross border planning and transfer pricing. Through Cadesky US Tax, we assist with US tax filings. With many years of experience, our team of professionals aim to deliver excellence in tax planning services. Please note that this role requires the successful candidate to work from the Toronto North office of Cadesky Tax five (5) days per week, Monday to Friday. Located in our North York office, the Executive Assistant is primarily responsible for providing support to one of our Tax Partners in our busy firm. The ideal candidate will be an organized and eager professional who takes initiative and ownership of their work, values attention to detail and has strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Handling all administrative duties, including email and calendar management, drafting letters, coordinating meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports.
  • Preparing and processing all client billing.
  • Ensuring all filing is organized and up to date on a regular basis.
  • Assistance with preparation of articles, papers and Power Point presentations.
  • Client liaison including preparation of engagement letter, information request and follow up on information to be received from clients.
  • Scheduling teleconference calls and videoconference calls.
  • Providing backup coverage in the absence of other assistants.
The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills:
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience providing administrative support to management, ideally in a professional services firm.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with emphasis on styles and formatting;
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Client centered approach with the commitment to providing outstanding service;
  • Ability to work under pressure, be flexible and adaptable to changing demands;
  • Ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks and competing priorities; and
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
