As Framatome Canada continues to expand its role in supporting Ontario's nuclear refurbishment programs, advancing new-build readiness, and strengthening Canada's nuclear supply chain, the pace, complexity, and visibility of the business continue to grow. The Chief Operating Officer plays a central role in integrating operations, strategy, and stakeholder engagement across the organization and with key partners, customers, and industry leaders.

This Executive Assistant role is critical to enabling that leadership effectiveness. By acting as an operational extension of the Chief of Operations Office, the Executive Assistant helps ensure that priorities are clearly tracked, decisions are followed through, and the COO's time and focus are directed toward the highest-value activities. In doing so, the role directly supports Framatome Canada's ability to execute complex programs safely, efficiently, and collaboratively contributing to the long-term success of Canada's nuclear industry and its role in delivering reliable, low-carbon energy for the country.
What You'll Do Day-To-Day:
Draft and/or compose correspondence for executive and/or own signature. Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain appointment calendar(s). Make domestic and international travel arrangements. Assist executive with optimum usage of time and opportunities as they occur. Perform desktop publishing for slide presentations, publications, and Board of Directors reports. Handle domestic and international telephone calls not requiring executive action. Arrange for entertainment of visitors and plan programs for executive meetings. Maintain confidentiality of personnel records, and proprietary company files. Screen all incoming correspondence and determine if executive action is needed. Perform other functions such as organizing and filing confidential files and records systems of the executive staff, preparation of recurring internal reports, maintaining customer database, etc. Review outgoing correspondence for accuracy, format consistency, signatures, conformance with executive procedures and preferences. Keep executive alerted to publications, news items, regulatory changes, and professional correspondence of significance to the business. Assist and/or prepare and distribute executive's monthly activity reports. Lead representative for organization's administrative staff. Requisition supplies, printing services, equipment maintenance, etc., assist Facilities Services with office furniture and fabric selections for the respective executive's work area.

What You'll Bring:
High School diploma or equivalent education. Minimum of 7 years of related experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules and files efficiently. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Ability to handle unexpected issues and find effective solutions quickly. Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative support to a senior leader (COO, CEO, or equivalent), including calendar management, travel coordination, expense management, and meeting preparation in a fast-paced, complex organization. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, protect executive focus, and adapt quickly to changing business needs. Strong judgment and discretion, with a proven ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and business-critical information with professionalism and integrity. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and LinkedIn, with the ability to independently produce executive-ready materials. Experience using modern productivity, automation, and digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions where appropriate, to streamline administrative workflows and improve efficiency. Strong business awareness, with the ability to understand organizational context, anticipate needs, and think ahead in support of executive decision-making. Professional presence and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact effectively with executives, Board members, customers, partners, and external stakeholders. Experience working in a regulated, technical, or industrial environment (such as energy, nuclear, engineering, infrastructure, or manufacturing) considered an asset. Ability to support domestic and international travel, scheduling, and coordination across time zones.
