Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to a partner in our firm.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clerical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain professionalism while handling sensitive information and interacting with various individuals.
Responsibilities
• Manage the partners schedules, including arranging meetings and appointments.
• Respond to emails and phone calls on behalf of the partner.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, demonstrating excellent phone and email etiquette.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and maintain organized records.
• Assist with accounting and tax related matters as requested based on level of skill and background.
• Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
• Handle front desk duties, welcoming visitors and managing incoming calls on an as needed basis. This is not the primary role of the position.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
• Maintain an organized filing system for digital documents.
Requirements
• Bachelors Degree from a recognized Canadian University.
• Experience with a law or accounting firm or other professional firm.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to learn accounting and tax as required.
• Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and strong computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
