Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of excavation processes. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our construction operations.

Duties

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and paving. Execute horizontal drilling and backhoe operations as required for various projects. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure work aligns with project specifications. Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Assist in building foundations, trenches, and other structures as needed. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Skills

Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly excavators, bulldozers, graders, and backhoes. Experience with commercial driving is a plus. Ability to perform horizontal drilling tasks efficiently. Strong understanding of excavation techniques and safety practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$41.81 per hour
