Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at TCI Utilities. . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and will be responsible for executing various excavation tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on construction sites.

Duties

Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as required by project specifications. Perform loader operation, grader operation, bulldozing, and backhoe operation as needed. Conduct horizontal drilling for utility installation and other applications. Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while operating heavy machinery on-site. Assist in building site preparation and cleanup as necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators. Mechanical knowledge related to the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery is highly desirable. Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus. Experience in loader operation, grader operation, horizontal drilling, bulldozing, and backhoe operation will be considered an advantage. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is beneficial.

Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
