Job Summary:



We are looking for a proactive and results-driven

Event Sales Manager cum Operations Planning Coordinator

to manage both the sales and planning aspects of events. This dual-role position is responsible for generating new event business, building client relationships, and ensuring flawless event execution through hands-on coordination and operational oversight.

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organized, customer-focused professional who enjoys both the front-end of sales and the back-end of operations.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Client Acquisition:



Proactively identify and pursue leads for private, corporate, and social events. Conduct client meetings, venue tours, and sales presentations. Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and event quotations. Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and referral business. Achieve individual and team sales targets set by the management.

Event Coordination & Operations:



Work with clients to understand event objectives, themes, and detailed requirements. Develop event plans, layouts, timelines, and checklists in coordination with vendors and internal teams. Liaise with catering, audio-visual, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure all logistics are in place. Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly. Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients during events.

Administrative & Reporting:



Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, contracts, and invoices. Prepare post-event reports, including feedback and budget analysis.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field. 3+ years of experience in event sales and operations or event coordination. Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/event management software (e.g., Cvent, Tripleseat, Salesforce). Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From $46,000.00 per year
