Overview: As an Event Planner you will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to create events that will inspire and motivate our customers including the what, the where and the myriad of other details that go into the events you plan to ensure they are a success. These events give us a chance to showcase our new products, provide a learning opportunity for our customers, and once again highlight that we are the hearing company that defines great customer experience. Our events take place across Canada, and you\'ll be on the road occasionally to see the positive results of all your efforts.

What you\'ll do:

  • Work with internal teams on messaging of event communications
  • Oversee the coordination of events including trade shows, conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Manage vendors and suppliers
  • Liaise with exhibition staff, travel agents, exhibitors, hotels, caterers, etc.
  • Co-ordinate the delivery and logistics of materials to events
  • Supervise the development and production of promotional materials and presentations.
  • Produce reports on events which include obstacles and opportunities encountered.
What you bring to the team:
  • Post Secondary School Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
  • Preferably 3-5 years event coordination or management experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
  • Proven ability to manage budgets
  • Creative and out of the box thinker
  • Organizational and planning skills
