Our luxury advisors are at the core of everything we do and specialize in air, hotel, cruise, tours, and VIP travel, where our Corporate Travel Consultants are the experts in providing tailored, full-service travel management solutions to our business clients. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Planner to join our Travel Edge team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing both in-person and virtual events. From conferences to networking events, to virtual events and exclusive trips, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our events within the world of luxury travel. Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Assist with planning and execution of a range of events including conferences, virtual events, networking events, and trips.
• Develop events that drive engagement, attendees, and revolve around the Travel Edge community.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners throughout the event process.
• Interact with internal leadership teams and event stakeholders to provide updates on event progress.
• Manage various logistical aspects of the events including catering, AV, transportation, accommodations, swag/gifting, and technology for virtual events.
• Create comprehensive event timelines, project plans, and comms plans, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with the creative marketing team to develop event graphics, communications, and digital content to drive attendance and engagement.
• Oversee event registration processes, tracking, and attendee communications.
• Maintain thorough post-event evaluation and analysis, including attendee feedback and ROI measurement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve event strategies and offerings.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) in event planning and execution.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in event management software, CRM systems, and virtual event platforms (e.g. Cvent or similar).
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work as needed for on-site events with the occasional need for travel.
