The events and fundraising coordinator plays a pivotal role in our organizations growth by assisting in the fundraising efforts including but not limited to grant and letter writing, research as well as securing large gift and monetary donations. The coordinator will work with staff and volunteers to help build and scale our donor commitment strategy while effectively engaging current and new stakeholders.

Ability to organize, plan and execute fundraising events
Establish and manage fundraising revenue targets within budgetary requirements
Develop and oversee effective prospect management strategies to identify new funding and partnership opportunities across multiple platforms
Ability to write and develop effective cultivation and solicitation materials
Work to the highest standard of ethical practice with maturity, diplomacy and confidentiality always
Comfortably, tactfully, professionally and effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external constituencies including volunteers, donors, staff and community members
Possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills with a strong ability to inspire and motivate
Proficiency using Google Docs, MS Suits, and social media platforms
Approach every situation with a positive attitude and constructive energy
Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
Effectively follow directions and requirements provided by supervisors
Responsible for fostering wellness and self-care with behaviours that promote a healthy and safe work environment.
Reliable, punctual, detail oriented and organized
Team player who is also able to work independently
Required Qualifications/Experience:
Previous experience in fundraising, project management and/or marketing and communications an asset
Demonstrated ability to secure and close major gifts from new donors
Experience in the non-profit sector
Familiarity with faith-based projects or organizations
Familiarity with and passionate about the mission of St. Mary's Parish and Tiny Home Takeout
