The Vertical MRO Conferences are growing, and we're looking for a talented

Event Director

to help shape the next evolution of our helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul events. If you love building high impact B2B conferences, thrive in fast paced environments, and want to work with one of aviation's most respected media companies, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

You'll own the full lifecycle of the Vertical MRO Conferences, from strategy and planning to onsite execution and post event evaluation. This includes:

Strategy & Coordination

Developing event strategies aligned with conference goals Collaborating with internal teams (sales, editorial, marketing, finance) Managing timelines and project plans Building relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, presenters and industry partners

Marketing & Promotion

Driving attendee and exhibitor engagement through strong promotional campaigns Partnering with the marketing team to produce event assets: social content, web pages, invitations, press releases, exhibitor kits

Execution & Onsite Leadership

Overseeing logistics, vendor management, AV needs, and venue coordination Leading event staff and ensuring seamless onsite operations Troubleshooting challenges in real time

What You Bring

5+ years in event or conference management Experience with trade shows or B2B events (aviation industry a plus) Strong project management and vendor management skills Excellent communication skills and a team player approach Ability to travel for site visits and event support
