Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic

Sales and Administrative Director

to lead our sales team and oversee administrative operations in our fast-paced

event and wedding rental business

. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, optimizing client experience, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a passion for customer service, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Sales Leadership



Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals. Oversee the full sales cycle from inquiry to closing, including quoting, follow-ups, and client onboarding. Lead and mentor the sales team; set performance goals and provide regular coaching. Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts, venues, and event planners. Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to adjust strategies as needed.

Administrative Oversight



Supervise the administrative team responsible for client communication, order processing, and scheduling. Ensure accurate documentation, invoicing, contracts, and compliance with company policies. Implement and refine administrative systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Manage inventory coordination with warehouse/logistics team to ensure availability and timely delivery of rental items.

Client Experience & Operations



Serve as a point of escalation for high-profile clients or complex event needs. Collaborate with the operations and design teams to ensure all events meet client expectations. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and efficient execution. Oversee CRM and booking software systems to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Team & Culture



Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of sales and administrative staff. Organize internal meetings and contribute to company growth initiatives.

Qualifications Required:



Experience in sales and/or administrative leadership, preferably in the event, wedding, or hospitality industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., HoneyBook, Salesforce, or similar), scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

Preferred:



Experience with event rental software (e.g., Goodshuffle Pro, RW Elephant, Point of Rental). Familiarity with local venues, vendors, and event trends. Ability to work evenings or weekends during peak event seasons, as needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
