We are seeking a highly skilled Event Decor Coordinator who takes pride in creating visually stunning event spaces and executing decor at a professional level.
Position Overview:
As the Event Decor Coordinator, you will be responsible for transforming our banquet hall to match each client's vision. This role goes beyond basic setup -- we are looking for someone with a strong eye for design, excellent organization, and the ability to execute decor flawlessly under time constraints.
You will oversee event decor from planning to execution, ensuring every detail is perfectly placed before guests arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, style, and break down event decor for weddings, receptions, and corporate events
Execute decor layouts including:
Table linens, chair covers, and sashes
Centerpieces and table styling
Head tables, sweetheart tables, and stage decor
Backdrops, signage, aisle decor, and accent pieces
Ensure decor aligns with client themes, layouts, and event timelines
Maintain a clean, polished, and elegant appearance of the hall at all times
Handle decor items with care and ensure proper storage after events
Coordinate with event managers, planners, and vendors on event days
Identify decor issues and resolve them proactively before guests arrive
Assist with minor layout adjustments during events if required
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in event decor, event styling, weddings, or banquet halls
Strong eye for design, symmetry, and detail
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Physically able to lift and move decor items, tables, and chairs
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when needed
Preferred (Strong Assets):
Experience with weddings and luxury events
Knowledge of decor trends and color coordination
Experience working in banquet halls or event venues
Leadership experience (ability to guide setup assistants if needed)
